Field Boundary Dispute Turns Violent in Kasganj, Ten Injured as Stick Fight Erupts in Partapur Village
A violent clash over a long-standing agricultural field boundary dispute in Partapur village under Patiyali Police Station, Kasganj district, left around ten people injured after both sides allegedly attacked each other with sticks. Police have sent the injured for medical examination, launched a detailed investigation, and said legal action will follow based on the findings.
According to the information available, the dispute had been ongoing for a considerable period between Sunil and Chatur Narayan over the boundary separating their agricultural fields. On Tuesday morning, both parties reached the field, where a verbal argument quickly intensified into a physical confrontation. Within moments, both sides allegedly began assaulting each other with sticks, resulting in multiple injuries.
Those injured from one side have been identified as Sandeep Kumar, Indresh alias Bhure, sons of Shaitan Singh, Pranshu and Govind, sons of Chatur Narayan, and Deenanath, son of Soran Singh. The injured from the other side include Sunil and Vinay, sons of Sukhveer Singh, Lata, daughter of Sunil, Rajnesh, son of Ramesh, and Dataram, son of Jiledar Singh.
Following the incident, members of both groups reached the Patiyali Police Station to file complaints against each other. Police referred all injured individuals for medical examination as part of the legal procedure.
Station House Officer Ajayveer Singh stated that a police team was dispatched to the scene immediately after receiving information about the incident. He said the police are conducting a thorough investigation into the matter and that appropriate legal action will be taken based on the findings of the inquiry.
The violent clash has once again highlighted how prolonged disputes over agricultural land boundaries can rapidly escalate into serious law and order incidents, prompting police intervention and a detailed investigation.
